A Message from the Hostesses:

Thank you so much for supporting our event! To ensure an enjoyable time for all, here are some FAQs to guide you!

1. What is Designer Bag Benefit?
We are playing 10 rounds of bingo. Each round we will play for a different
designer handbag. The winner of each round of bingo wins the handbag for that
round. In the event of a tie, we will have a roll off to determine the winner of the
bag. The ticket you have purchased for this event will get you 10 bingo cards (1
for each round) and a seat at a table. We will also have a raffle for additional
chances to win goodies!

2. What time do the Bingo games start? What time should I arrive?
VIP tables – please check in at 5:30 PM for your champagne preview. Doors will
open at 6:00 PM for all others to begin check in, seating, and table set-up.
Whoever purchased your table (the Table Lead) needs to check in, pick up the
bingo cards for the entire table, and distribute. (TABLE LEADS - PLEASE
FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO YOUR TABLE GUESTS) Butlers and hostesses
can help you find your assigned table. Be sure to take this opportunity to walk
around, look at the handbags and see which round each bag will be played. You
can also see our beautiful raffle items and purchase any additional Bingo cards or
raffle tickets. We will begin Bingo games PROMPTLY at 7:00pm. If you arrive
after the beginning of any rounds, those rounds are non-refundable.

3. Where is the event venue?
St. Lawrence Martyr is located at 1950 S Prospect Ave in Redondo Beach. Our
event will be held in the Monsignor Collins Parish Hall, which is located on the
church property.

4. Where should I park?
Please designate a driver for the night, especially if you plan on consuming alcohol - Or
use Uber/Lyft. You may park in the main church parking but may NOT leave any cars
in the lot overnight (they may get towed). If the lot is full or you plan on leaving your
car overnight please park on Prospect Ave. or the alley behind the school. Please be
careful when crossing Prospect Ave. and obey all traffic and parking laws.

5. What do I need to bring?
1st: Food and drinks!! Bring appetizers, desserts, beverages, and/or wine. Refer
to #6 below for suggestions. We will have a black table cloth and ice bucket with ice on
each table. Please do NOT bring side tables to create more space for food as we do not
have the space. Also do NOT bring items that need to be plugged in as there is not access
to electrical outlets.
2nd: Bring extra cash – we will have Butler Dads roaming the floor between
rounds selling extra Bingo cards - cash is the quickest way to purchase. Prior to the start
of Bingo at 7 PM, extra Bingo cards, raffle tickets, and a chance to win a case of Veuve
Clicquot will be available to purchase via credit card or cash.
3rd: Bring your good spirits and laughter, it’s going to be a fun night!

6. What type of food can I bring? What type of food should I not bring? And is this food for a communal table or for me?
There is a world of possibilities of things to bring! Just think - salads, pasta, cheese and
crackers, chips & dip, pita & hummus, veggie or fruit trays, desserts, cake, pastry, etc.
The food you bring is for you and whoever you would like to share it with. Get together
with your friends and decide the menu. Don't forget utensils, paper plates, napkins,
glasses/plastic cups, wine opener etc.! As far as alcohol goes - we respectfully ask that
you limit libations to beer and wine ONLY. Please, no hard liquor! It’s a long evening....

7. What are Butlers and what do they do?
Some of our amazing SLM Dads have volunteered to help the night be a success by being
our Butlers. They will guide you to your table at check-in. During the event they sell
additional Bingo cards and can help clear trash from your table. They do not have access
to the kitchen and cannot wash items or store anything for you during the event. You are
responsible for clearing your table at the end of the event.

8. What does purchasing extra cards mean?
If there is a particular bag(s) that you really hope to win, you will be able to purchase
individual bingo cards at the bag tables or from our butler dads to increase your chances of
winning that round! There will also be one Bonus Bingo Round, which is not included
with your ticket (unless you are a VIP). You will want to purchase a card to participate in
this round for a chance to win a fabulous resort bag, complete with a $250 gift card to
Terranea, Hat Attack Beach Rancher Hat, Sojos Vintage Oversized Square Sunglasses,
Indaba Trading Acapulco Block Print Kimono, Sand Cloud Turkish Beach Towel, Aloha
Mid Pouch Adrift, Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut Champagne, and other amazing items!!
There will also be an opportunity to purchase an entire 2nd set of 10 bingo cards for a “2nd
Chance” (1 card for each round) at check-in. There is a limited number of these 2nd
Chance Cards, so purchase them early while supplies last!

9. When can I purchase extra cards, raffle tickets, etc.?
You can purchase raffle tickets and extra card prior to 7 PM when Bingo begins.
Purchases made at the sales tables can be paid in cash or credit card. There will also be
one intermission between rounds 5 and 6 when the sales tables will be open again. In
addition, Butlers are also selling extra cards between rounds on the floor for cash only.

10. What do the bags look like?
All the bags are new and authentic. Our designers this year are YSL, Kate Spade, Tory
Burch, Rag &Bone, Claire V, Hammitt, and many others! We have several great items in
our raffle and are featuring a gorgeous Louis Vuitton purse in our luxury raffle! Please
come early to browse the bags and see for which one (or two or three) you want to play –
buy additional cards to increase your chances of going home with the bag of your dreams!
